While I’ve been a bartender going on 14 years, I’ve recently turned to the dark side and pursued content creation as my full time imaginary job. Yeah, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit too.
If it’s any consolation, I strive to make the recipes I share as delicious as I believe they can be.
I share my thoughts on the industry and give career advice here and there.

Back in 2015, back when Instagram was just a platform for pictures, I came across an account called “Humans of NY”, which was a collection of portraits and documentation of the humans in the photo.
Feeling inspired by the storytelling, I secured the account @notjustabartender on Instagram and YouTube with the dream of doing similar visual storytelling for the bar industry.
It would be 7 years before I posted anything.
With some luck (and hundreds of hours spent learning how to film and edit myself) I get to post about cocktail recipes with some storytelling sprinkled in — with enough success to now call it a job. It’s the reason why you’re even here reading this.
