The Jägerita
I was gifted a bottle of Jäger — which is possibly a cursed gift. I’ve seen this cocktail circulate a few times, so I knew I had to try it myself.
While I’ve had my painful history with this particular German amaro, I thought it was time to revisit it and see its ability to shine differently in more... thoughtful ways.
Ingredients
0.25oz | 7.5ml 2:1 simple syrup
0.75oz | 22.5ml Cointreau
1oz | 30ml lime juice
1.5oz | 45ml Jägermeister
Cocktail Directions
Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, shake hard with ice, and double strain into a rocks glass with ice.
