The industry sour

 

Stop pretending you like fernet.

I know we all need therapy, but those who genuinely love fernet need priority treatment (I still love you, just worried about you).

After making several comments in the disdain of fernet, I’ve been told to make the Industry Sour more than a handful of times. On paper, it sounds like I would enjoy at least 69% of this recipe. I figured I’d break out some of the vintage juice sitting on the shelf to help upgrade it and hopefully help me hate myself less.


 

Ingredients

0.75oz | 22.5ml simple syrup

1oz | 30ml lime juice

1oz | 30ml Green Chartreuse

1oz | 30ml Fernet

Pinch of salt

 

Cocktail Directions

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, add ice, shake, and double strain into a coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
