CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES
CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES cocktail recipe
What’s the most underrated cocktail?
Truthfully, there are too many to count in my opinion, and they are constantly fluctuating. I was recently asked this question on a Live, and while I get asked that a lot, in that moment somewhere in the corners of my brain I heard a little voice shout “Champs-Élysées!”
I really need to talk to someone about that.
Anyway, if you’re a fan of a Sidecar but bored of it, this is a variation worth trying if you have a bottle of Chartreuse hanging around. If you don’t, try hunting down some Genepy or other replacements to get the same herbaceous bite.
I definitely recommend this cocktail for those exploring Cognac — something I need to do more often if I’m being honest.
One of my favorite cocktails to show the versatility of cognac AND chartreuse, especially together. This is a bright, elegant, and complex cocktail — one for the favorites tab for sure.
