Green Juice x Mezcalita ✅

Once I saw @haileecatalano do this, I knew I had to try it. I was already in the middle of shopping for some homemade ceviche, and I figured the extra ingredients were easy enough to pick up for this too.

In my recipe I decided to exclude the cucumber that she had in hers. I’m a little over cucumber at the moment, so I just wanted to focus on the pineapple, jalapeño and herbs for mine. In truth, I did add a splash of water after blending to ensure I could actually extract the final product out.

Highly recommend you give this a shot.

 

Ingredients

0.5oz | 15ml triple sec

1oz | 30ml lime juice

1.5oz | 45ml verdita (recipe below)

1.5oz | 45ml mezcal or tequila

Directions

Make the verdita (recipe below). Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, add ice, shake and double strain over a large block in a rocks glass rimmed with salt, tajin or whatever. Garnish with mint, lime, or nothing like me.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

How to Make Verdita Green Juice

1 pineapple, chopped

1/2 bushel of cilantro

1 handful of mint

1 jalapeño, chopped

100ml of water

 

Blend all ingredients, fine strain through a mesh sleeve. Really only good for 24 hours max.
