homemade spiced grenedine

 
 

Ingredients

250g pomegranate juice

205g cane sugar

1 cinnamon stick

5g cardamom pods

5g star anise pods

10g lemon peel

10g orange peel

15ml lemon juice

 

Steps

 

Crush and grind spices lightly. Bring all ingredients to a simmer, then let it steep for 15-20 mins. Strain out solids, reserve in the fridge for up to 3-4 weeks.
