The penicillin cocktail
Who doesn’t love one of these? Created by Sam Ross, this modern classic is a banger for those looking to make use of some blended scotch at home.
While it may not cure you from a questionable one night stand, I promise you at the very least it’s delicious.
Ingredients
2 dashes 80:20 saline solution
0.33oz | 10ml honey syrup
0.33oz | 10ml ginger syrup
1oz | 30ml lemon juice
2oz | 60ml blended scotch
Spray or barspoon (5ml) of Islay Scotch
Cocktail Directions
Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin except Islay scotch, add ice, shake hard, and double strain into a rocks glass with a large cube. Spray or spoon Islay scotch overtop. Garnish with a candied ginger piece.
